Located on the boarder of the Sichuan and Gansu provinces of China lies the White Horse Valley, reported home of the Bai-Ma, which are described as pure white equine or horses with the tail of an ox. According to ancient texts the Bai-Ma was able to produce a sound almost identical to that of a tigers roar. Some researchers have suggested that the tiger like roar of the Bai-Ma was used to discourage any potential predators from getting to close.
